EASY SETUP
Start printing with your HP Sprocket Studio Plus in just a few simple steps!
Plug In + Power On
Connect the power cord to the printer and plug it in. Press and hold the power button on the side of the printer until the light above the paper tray turns on. Do you have a Sprocket Studio Plus Power Bank?
Load Paper
Lift the paper tray cover and place the photo paper in the tray, shiny-side facing up. Be careful not to touch the shiny side of the paper. Make sure to buy HP Sprocket 4 x 6” (102 x 152 mm) Photo Paper and
Cartridges for your HP Sprocket Studio Plus --the cartridge and paper are sold together!
Install Cartridge
Open the printer side-door and insert the cartridge into the slot until it clicks. Close the door. Do not touch or cut the film on the cartridge.
Check Behind the Printer
Make sure the power cord, battery, or other items don’t block the back of the printer. Allow at least 5 inches (12.7 cm) of space when printing. The photo will emerge multiple times from the printer. Do not tug
or touch the print until it ejects completely.
Get Connected
Use Bluetooth® to connect to your printer. The HP Sprocket app will help you pair during the in-app setup instructions. If you have already set up your printer, open the Main Menu, tap “sprocket”, then choose
“Manage Printers” and tap “Add New Printer”. Choose your printer to connect.

Install App and Charge Printer
Install the HP Sprocket Panorama app to begin setup. (a) Charge the
printer with the USB cable before use. (b) Once charged, press
the power button to turn on the printer.
Remove the Cover
Remove the cover (a) and take out the paper roll holder (b).
Insert the Cleaning Sheet
Feed the edge of the cleaning sheet into the slot until it
hits the stopper. Replace the cover until you hear a click.
The cleaning sheet will feed automatically.
What is the blue card for?
Ready Paper Roll
(a) Once the cleaning sheet is out, remove the cover and twist the
cap off the end of the paper roll holder. (b) Place the paper roll onto
the paper roll holder, and twist the cap back on until it clicks.
Load the Paper Roll
Feed the edge of the paper into the slot until it reaches the stopper. Place the paper roll holder back inside and make sure it clicks before closing the cover.
NOTE: Printer will automatically print a calibration barcode sticker.
Cut the Barcode, and Enjoy!
After the printer automatically prints the calibration barcode sticker, press down on the paper cutter to remove it. Open the mobile app and follow instructions to add your printer and it will be ready for use.

(b) Wait 4 seconds, then press and hold the power button to turn the device on.

(c) Once the calibration sheet is done processing, the device is ready to use.

Connect to Wi-Fi
Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the upper right corner of the home screen or select “Settings,” then network. Slide the bar next to “Enable Wi-Fi” into the on position, then select your network and click “Connect.”

Photobooth
- Open the sprocket app camera and swipe to “Photobooth”.

Tap the shutter icon to start taking four photos in a row. Watch the on-screen countdown to know when to pose.
- • Your four images will appear tiled on the same print in the Preview Screen.
- • Press the shutter icon to stop a photo series while the pictures are being taken.
Custom Stickers
- In Edit, open the Sticker Gallery.
- In the bottom-left corner, tap the plus icon.

Fill the frame with your doodle and tap the screen.
- • Custom stickers will save to the Custom Sticker Gallery folder, located next to the plus icon in the Sticker Gallery.
- • Long-tap on a sticker to delete it.
- • Long-tap on the Custom Sticker Gallery to delete the folder.
Tile Printing
- From the Preview Screen, tap “Tiles”.
- Select your pattern. Tiled photos can print out in 2 x 2 or 3 x 3 prints.
- Assemble your prints to create a large tiled photo!
Photo ID
Works best with Sprocket Studio.
- Open the sprocket camera and swipe to “Photo ID”.
- Follow the prompts for selecting a background, removing accessories, and centering your face or your friend’s face.
- Choose photo dimensions.
Note: We don’t guarantee that the sprocket photo will be accepted by all entities that require an official photo. You will need to confirm that the photo meets the applicable requirements.
Custom Paper Length
• Choose the perfect paper length for your print, anywhere between 0.5 to 9 inches.
• Pinch with two fingers to zoom, rotate or resize the photo.
• Toggle between portrait and landscape orientation.
• Tap “Next” to edit your image. Add frames, stickers, text, and other extras before printing.
You can also share, save, and print multiple copies of your photo.

Use the Sprocket Studio Power Bank
1. Charge the portable power bank using the power cord included with your printer.
2. When charged, unwrap the nested cord on the power bank and plug it into the printer.
